Las Vegas, USA – September 9, 2025 – Longmax Technology reached a major milestone at RE+ 2025, the international solar and energy storage exhibition in Las Vegas. Its independently developed 1500V DC US standard switch box has officially received ETL certification from Intertek. This certification grants the product formal entry to the North American market, elevates Longmax Technology’s global technical competitiveness, and supports deeper expansion across the US and global markets.

Innovative Design Earns Global Authority Recognition

The certified 1500V DC US standard switch box draws on Longmax Technology’s over 20 years of R&D experience and global project track record in the eBOS sector. It is specifically designed for the complex DC side environment of large-scale utility solar plants across the United States.

The product fully complies with strict North American standards including UL 1741, with clear improvements in reliability, safety and engineering usability. It has a failure rate below 0.3% and supports 100% rated load disconnection, directly addressing North America’s core requirement for high voltage safe isolation. It delivers a more efficient, secure experience for customers through all stages of solar plant construction and operation.

Strategic Footprint in North America’s Fast-Growing Solar Market

As the world’s second largest solar market, the US has surpassed 140GW of total installed capacity. The Solar Energy Industries Association projects an average of 50GW of new annual installations in the decade starting in 2023, driving steady growth in demand for high reliability solar equipment.

Back in 2020, Longmax Technology became the first Chinese combiner box manufacturer to obtain UL certification. This new ETL certification further strengthens its product compliance and competitive edge in international markets.

In 2024, Longmax Technology began building a localized US sales and service system to deepen its North American presence. Yang Yuhui, General Manager of Longmax Technology, stated at the certification ceremony: “ETL certification is a key milestone in Longmax’s global strategy, and a new starting point for our full scale service to the North American market. We will speed up product promotion and channel building, deliver full lifecycle customer support through our local team, and continue leading technical innovation and application in the solar eBOS sector.”

Proven On-Site Performance Builds Global Customer Trust

Certification is only the starting point for Longmax’s global market participation. Long-term market recognition comes from the combined strength of reliable products and responsive services.

For example, Longmax’s smart combiner boxes have maintained stable operation under extreme conditions of high temperature, high humidity and high salt spray at Samsung’s 88MW Mankilao solar project in Guam, USA. The units helped lift power generation efficiency by 20% above initial expectations, earning wide recognition from the US solar industry.

Looking Forward

As a leading global eBOS brand, Longmax Technology has reached 210GW of total installed capacity worldwide, with business covering more than 70+ countries. Going forward, the company will continue to build technical credibility through international certifications, deepen partnerships with authoritative institutions including Intertek, and advance the standardization and upgrading of solar equipment. It will remain dedicated to delivering customized, high value clean energy solutions for global customers.
